Mind Boggling

As if it wasn't sad enough that the great Alexander McQueen committed suicide back in February, the first of his dresses that went up for auction failed to sell. At a London auction this week, McQueen's dresses and some custom furniture from the former Biba Store were aimed to be sold. All of the furniture sold but the dresses accumulated no profit. One dress valued at about $18,000 to $27,000. This is a grand misfortune in terms of money but it is an even bigger disappointment in attempt of cherishing such a monumental designer.
